With docu tools’ 360° integration, one photo per room is sufficient to fully document the construction status. The camera is directly connected to the docu tools app, new images are automatically transferred and assigned to the corresponding pin on the plan – without any manual rework.

The integration was developed in collaboration with customers from the field. The focus was on robust hardware, ease of use, and a seamless workflow directly on the construction site.
Stable helmet mount & steady shots
The camera is secured using a stable helmet mount, ensuring steady, shake-free footage even when moving. This makes the solution ideal for tours around the entire construction site.
Sharp images, even in low light
Thanks to AI noise reduction and extended dynamic range, the camera delivers clear, detailed, and accurate images even in dark rooms or suspended ceilings. Important components remain visible even when lighting conditions are suboptimal.

To develop 360° integration, the docu tools team tested numerous camera manufacturers and models under real construction site conditions. The Insta360 series proved to be the most impressive in terms of image quality, stability, usability, and integration capabilities. That is why docu tools currently only supports the Insta360 X5, X4, and X3 models—the cameras that deliver the best results in practice and ensure reliable use on the construction site.

Features are already in development that will further improve your documentation in 2025 and 2026. Split View Compare two 360° images side by side – ideal for progress analysis over weeks or months. Face Blur People are automatically blurred out – in compliance with data protection regulations and without additional processing. Android availability While the feature is already available on iOS, the Android version will follow by the end of 2025.
