Tip for using docu tools on a tablet: Each time the docu tools application is synchronized, the user ID, project ID, and start and end times of the process are stored by docu tools GmbH in an internal analytics system for the purpose of understanding and resolving any user issues.

3. Correction, restriction, and deletion of data

docu tools GmbH undertakes to respect the rights of data subjects in accordance with the GDPR. Data provided by the user may be corrected, changed, or deleted at any time at the user's request, provided that this does not conflict with any legal requirements. At the user's request, it is also possible to obtain information about the data stored by docu tools GmbH at any time. To do so, the user must send an email with the relevant request and proof of identity to service@docu-tools.com. The same applies to verbal requests made by telephone. The user may submit the request informally, but must confirm their identity (e.g., by sending a copy of their ID). docu tools GmbH will comply with the request within the statutory period of one month. docu tools GmbH also undertakes to inform all persons to whom the data has been disclosed of the correction, deletion, or restriction of data processing. 8. File transfer in docu tools GmbH software

When using docu tools GmbH products or services, the user may upload and store construction plans, photos, text files, and audio information relating to construction defects on the docu tools GmbH web server. Strict internal procedures and systems regulate and guarantee that digital content will not be made available to unauthorized users. The user can decide for themselves who will have access to the uploaded and stored content by unblocking it. We use the Matomo analytics platform to analyze the behavior of users visiting our website. We operate Matomo ourselves on our own servers to ensure that data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Matomo collects and stores data such as the user's pseudonymized IP address, time of visit, page visited, and browser used. This data is stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Due to pseudonymization, it is not possible to identify the user. The collected data is used exclusively to improve our website and is not passed on to third parties.
