What are digital plans?
Digital plans are plans in PDF format that are imported into docu tools – each plan is a single file.
Active plans count
Only activated plans are included in the license – revision plans or inactive projects are not included.
Per user
The number of plans is multiplied by the number of users: 45 active plans × 3 users = 135 plans in the Combo Tool.
Project disabled?
Then all plans in the project automatically become invalid – without any surprises related to the license.

What pricing models does docu tools offer?
docu tools offers four license models: Pocket for small teams (15 plans), Combo for growing project requirements (45 plans), Multi for large organizations (150 plans), and Enterprise with customized solutions and unlimited plans. All models include unlimited projects, storage, and free access for subcontractors and observers. Prices start at €22 per user per month (plus VAT).
What are the main differences between Pocket, Combo, and Multi Tool tools?
Pocket Tool – Pocket Tool offers the basic features of docu tools and is ideal for beginners or people invited to collaborate on an existing project. It is an affordable option for anyone who wants to learn about docu tools or collaborate on specific tasks.
Combo Tool – Combo Tool includes all the features you need to work comprehensively with docu tools. These include custom report templates and pin fields, more plans per user, and access to data sets. It is the right choice for teams that work with docu tools on a regular basis.
Multi Tool – The Multi Tool is designed for larger organizations with more complex requirements. It offers a significantly larger number of plans, features such as QR codes and GPS location, as well as special features for large customers – for example, management of subsidiaries or departments and the ability to restrict access to project folders for individual users.
What is an active plan? Are plans charged per user?
An active plan in Docu Tools refers to a digital plan used in a project. The number of active plans is counted for the entire organization, not for each user. This means that if, for example, your organization has three users with a total limit of 135 plans, this limit applies to the entire organization, not to each user individually. If a project is deactivated, the plans it contains will no longer be counted as active. Individual plans can also be deactivated within a project. Revision plans are not counted as active plans—when a revision is imported, the previous version is simultaneously deactivated.
Can different licensing models be combined within a single organization?
For technical reasons, only one license model can be used within a single organization. It is not possible to combine different models (e.g., Pocket and Combo).
